Im a sucker for auto-runners so this was right up my ally. Level design was nice and varied, difficulty ramp up was good too.

Only issue I have with the game is that I hit a bug where the screen went totally black and never fixed itself (this was right after I had died). Not a huge deal, I refreshed the game and played some more :)

That's Great to Hear! :D I'm Very Glad You Enjoyed My Game! But Can You Tell Me Where Exactly That Black Screen Glitched Happened So I Can Patch It?

This game is great, the music, gameplay & visuals are all cohesive. The map is fun to explore & the whole thing runs silky smooth.

Only thing I could ask for is more maps! (oh, and a pause button :D)

Good fun!

Loved the dynamic soundtrack. Having a single song transform to suit what your doing feels really nice.

Lol this game is a fun power trip. Basically the games difficulty curve goes hard->easy, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, as you certainly feel powerful.

My wishlist for this game would be something to pose a challenge after the 3rd gun upgrade, maybe 60-120s after you get it and the power trip has worn off. Just a big square with lots of hp that spawns occasionally would be enough to force me to change my strategy of "move as little as possible and mow everything down" that I had adopted.

Anyways, I had fun with this, thanks for the game :)

Thanks for the honest review! I considered adding a boss, but wasn't sure if it would break the arcade-y flow (and also prolly bc i was lazy ngl lol). But if ppl wanna see that then I will try my hand at a boss if I make this kinda game again! Thank you!!

I liked this, nice entry into the ritz games! Neat having two separate jumps & fast movement. Felt compelled to just race through the levels.

Small bug I found, which im kinda interested in, as I use Godot too haha. If you:
- click your game
- click off of it (anywhere else on the page)
- click on the game again

You end up in a state where the game doesn't take in any keyboard input (ie cant play the game at all). Tested in FF and Chrome. It doesnt seem to show up on other Godot games so im not sure whats happening. Hope this helps, if you figure er out lmk what the issue ends up being :)

eyedust responds:

Thank you for testing that on different browsers, I'm still trying to figure that issue out. I appreciate you playing! If I figure it out I'll def let you know, good to know there's others on here using Godot as it's such a great engine.

Quick note that I enjoyed this game :) I like the gameplay of sort of optimizing your route / not wasting resources on just whacking things unless it was worth it etc.

Small things
- I didnt really understand what was going on initially, I mostly stumbled on not understanding that only sticks give you wood for your axe, other wooden things do not. But once I got that I had a good time :)
- When you complete a level, there isnt a "go to next level button" which feels like an easy addition that would help me out (unless im blind and missed it haha)

I always like a game where you can choose your character.

Didnt beat this game yet, il come back to it tomorrow when I have some more time!

DarkryCZ responds:

Thank you very much!
Yes, I must admit that the start might be kinda chaotic. There is a help button that I added in that case but I still get that some things are just different from the start. It's different for me- the author, and for you- players; and I get that. Therefor it's my mistake and problem that it is like that, not yours :)
I had some people suggesting the "next level" button since the release. Don't worry, you're not blind :D
I didn't relly think of it and now I'm worried that people would lose their progress when I release an update :/ I should have probably save all the data on the cloud right away. I made it voluntary , which might be a mistake.

Thanks once again, I put my heart into it ;)

Solid flute simulator. Favourite part is definitely the crowd growing and shrinking as you do well/screw it up. I always like crowds that judge/interact with you in games, ie paper mario or the coliseum crowd in hollow knight.

I enjoyed this :) I usually don't like rhythm games at all and avoid em. I think having it be a single button helped me a lot haha. Overall I like everything, the attention to detail with the different death animations is a great touch.

Cool that you used Heaps for this game, iv debated using it in the past but was put off by the (at least at the time) sparse documentation. Neat to see!

jefvel responds:

Thanks! I'm very bad at rhytm games myself, but wanted to try to make one :)
Heaps is really nice once you get the hang of it!

This game is super fun, so simple, I love it! Id looove if this game had ng highscores!

Tykua responds:

Hahaha, thank you so much for the feedback glad you loved it.

Great controls, really enjoyed the cannon mechanic & all the level designs. Reminiscent of Donkey Kong Country in a very good way.
